75th anniversary of Tricolour hoisting

On 30th December 1943, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose hoisted the Tricolour for the first time at Cellular Jail in Port Blair. Bose arrived at Andaman and Nicobar Islands in 1943 after Japan, which captured them in Second World War, handed them over to his Azad Hind government. To mark the 75th anniversary of this occasion, the Indian government released a Rs.75 commemorative coin. This 3-gram coin will compose of 50% silver, 40%copper and 5% each of nickel and zinc.
