Cyclone Seroja

Cyclone Seroja is a tropical cyclone that caused severe flooding and landslides in southern Indonesia and East Timor. It had later hit Western Australia’s Mid West region, making it the first to do so since the 1999 Cyclone Elaine. The cyclone moved towards southwestern Australia due to its interaction with the nearby Tropical Cyclone Odette. The intensity of Cyclone Seroja fluctuated due to the Fujjwhara effect.
