DIPCOVAN is an antibody detection-based kit developed by a DRDO lab called Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences. It is capable of detecting both spike as well as nucleocapsid (S&N) proteins of SARS-CoV-2 virus with 97 per cent sensitivity. This indigenous antibody test kit is approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research in April 2021. Recently, the DGCI gave nod for this kit.
