Ekta Diwas: Prime Minister to participate celebration
Prime Minister will participate in the Ekta Diwas celebrations which will be held on October 31 in Kevadia, Guajrat.
About Ekta Diwas
Ekta Diwas or the National Unity Day is celebrated on October 31 every year. This year Ekta Diwas will be celebrated to commemorate 145th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The celebrations would be participated by the central reserve armed forces, police forces of Gujarat state, Indo Tibetan Border Police force, Central industrial security forces and National Security Guard.

On the occasion, a cultural show of tribal heritage will be organised. The Indian Air Force will perform a fly past. Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi will also administer the Rashtriya Ekta pledge during the event. He will also be addressing the 428 civil servants who are currently undergoing 95th foundation course at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussorie. The officers will join the function through video conference as a culmination of Aarambh 2020. On this occasion, Prime Minister will also launch the seaplane service which connects the Statue of Unity in kevadiya and Sabarmati riverfront in Ahmedabad.
