Farzad-B gas field
Farzab-B is an off-shore natural gas field off the coast of Iran’s Farsi Island. Its total in-place reserves of gas field are 21.68 trillion cubic foot, of which 60% is recoverable. It was discovered in 2008 by a consortium of 3 Indian companies led by the state-owned ONGC Videsh. Recently, Iran signed a contract with an Iranian company named National Iranian Oil Company for this field’s development.
