Hospital Management Information System

Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is an integrated clinical information system implemented to bring the entire Railway Health System under single architecture to prevent pilferage and ensure faster, seamless and hassle-free healthcare. It is implemented by RailTel ? a PSU under the Railways Ministry ? and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) under the MeitY.
The HMIS solution will cover core as well as ancillary requirements of the hospital managements like areas of OPD, IPD, labs, blood bank, pharmacy etc. It will be deployed in 156 health facilities. It has been integrated with various digital initiatives of the Indian Railway like Unique Medical ID, IPASS and ARPAN etc.
