IAF e-Governance portal

Indian Air Force Chief, Air Marshall R K S Bhadauria, launched the IAF e-Governance (e-Office) portal in New Delhi. This portal is part of Digital India and e-Governance initiative. It seeks to make the entire IAF into a paperless office workflow. This will be a major shift from the current method of correspondence involving filing and documentation. This is to increase transparency and accountability, improve efficiency, assure data integrity and enable speedy access to archives.
