International Tea Day

International Tea Day is celebrated each year on December 15 by major tea-producing countries, which include India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Indonesia. The day is celebrated to create global awareness of tea production activities and consumption. It highlights the efforts of people involved in the production of tea. Tea is one of the most widely consumed beverages in the world. China is currently the largest exporter, followed by Kenya and India.
