SIPRI

Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) is a global think tank set up in 1966 to conduct scientific research on conflict, international peace and security. It provides data, analysis and recommendation on armed conflict, military expenditure, arms trade and disarmament to the global community. According to its newly released report, the global military expenditure has risen to nearly 2 million USD last year despite the coronavirus-led economic crisis.
