Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) mission

Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) mission is a new mission that is to be launched by NASA to measure the volume and location of water on the Earth. This is NASA’s first global survey of Earth’s surface waters. It will also be the first to provide observational evidence of eddies’ influence on changes in oceans. It will be launched in the latter part of 2022.
