Tiangong space station
Tiangong space station is being constructed by China in low Earth orbit. Its module design will be similar to the International Space Station operated by the US, Russia, Japan, Canada and the European Space Agency. Once complete, the space station, weighing 70 tonnes, will have a core module attached two laboratories. The core capsule is named Tianhe, meaning ?Harmony of Heavens?. It is the biggest and heaviest spacecraft constructed by China.
China is preparing to launch an uncrewed cargo ship to the Tiangong Space Station to prepare for the arrival of its second human crew this October. The station currently consists of only the Tianhe that consists of living quarters and workspace.
