Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs launch Smart Consumer mobile App & OCMC

The Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs has launched ‘Smart Consumer’ mobile App and ‘Online Consumer Mediation Centre (OCMC)’ to provide speedy redressal of consumer grievances. Besides, 14404 helpline was also launched for consumer related grievances. Microsite based on the theme Digitally Safe Consumer Campaign was also launched to help consumers for being vigilant and not falling prey to cyber frauds.
