United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali

The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) is a UN peacekeeping mission in Mali. It was constituted by the United Nations Security Council on 25th April 2013 to stabilise the Mali after the Tuareg rebellion that occurred in 2012. On 13th January 2021, the MINUSMA witnessed an attack that caused deaths and injuries of peacekeepers from Cote d’Ivoire.
