Herbig-Haro objects

Herbig-Haro objects are bright patches of nebulosity associated with newborn stars. They form when stellar winds collide with surrounding gas. Discovered by George Herbig and Guillermo Haro in the 1950s, these objects indicate ongoing star formation. They can be found in various star-forming regions across the universe. Their study helps astronomers understand the early stages of stellar evolution.
