Rani Lakshmibai
Rani Lakshmibai was the queen of Jhansi and a key figure in the 1857 Indian Rebellion. She was born in 1828 and became a symbol of resistance against British rule. Rani Lakshmibai was skilled in sword fighting and horseback riding. Her leadership inspired many. She died in battle in 1858, becoming a legendary figure in Indian history and folklore.
