In East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, an initiative known as “Digital Connectivity through FSOC” was launched. By providing essential services like mobile connectivity, internet, and wireless landline connectivity to these villages, facilities such as telemedicine, public grievances redressal, online education became accessible. This connectivity is believed to assist in eradicating Left Wing Extremism. FSOC, an optical communication technology, transmits data wirelessly to telecommunication and internet applications using light. It can beam high-speed, high-capacity connectivity over long distances without cables.

The Jhabua district in Madhya Pradesh implemented the Sathidar Abhiyan. An initiative aimed at empowering women and children by eliminating social evils.
