New Titanosaur Species Unearthed in Chile

Arackar licanantay is a newly identified species of titanosaur, a group of long-necked, plant-eating dinosaurs that roamed the Earth during the Late Cretaceous period. The discovery of its remains in the arid landscape of northern Chile’s Atacama Desert has provided paleontologists with valuable insights into the diversity and distribution of titanosaurs in South America.
