Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Mobile App

Meenakashi Lekhi who is the MoS Culture and External Affairs, launched the app named Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Mobile App. his will give everyone one-stop access to all the information related to India’s 75th Anniversary of Independence. The app available on Android and iOS contains details of all activities and events that take place under the AKAM banner. It is a free app that can be downloaded without age restrictions.

Details of the App

Sections like weekly highlights and what’s new allow users to know all the details about the Mahotsav celebrations as well as and events in India and around the world.

The start page provides users with an overview of the application’s diverse and interesting content. This includes links to areas such as digital district repository as well as Unsung Heroes that are part of a shared area called History Corner.

The Children’s Corner celebrates the active participation of young Indians in various activities related to the amrit mahotsav. The activities and events section provide detailed information about events related to the mahotsav organized by various ministries, UTs and states, along with a search function that provides easy and direct access to the current event database.

About Digital District Repository

It provides information about other freedom fighters of the nation as well as unsung heroes. The information provided in a district wise level. Users can get information about heroes in their area.
