CSIR Prima ET11

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Science & Technology, launched CSIR Prima ET11, India’s first indigenous e-Tractor developed by CMERI. He emphasized the importance of Agri StartUps and AI-driven technologies in agriculture, citing innovations like e-Tractors, genome sequenced farming, and drip irrigation. Highlighting India’s untapped agricultural potential, he advocated an integrated approach involving showcasing, stakeholders, startups, synergizing, and strategizing for successful R&D outcomes.

The Minister proposed a dedicated cell for investment encouragement and lauded PM Modi’s focus on agriculture for national development. He released CSIR-CIMAP’s book and technology compendium and expressed interest in CMERI’s recycling innovations.
