Dominic Thiem Defeated Rafael Nadal at the ATP Finals
Dominic Theim from Austria defeated Rafael Nadal on November 17 2020 on the 3rd day of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) finals. Theim has become the first player to qualify for the semi-finals of 2020 ATP.
Rafael Nadal will now have to beat Tsitsipas so as to reach the semi-finals.
Dominic Thiem is the tennis player from Austria has been ranked at number 3 in the ATP rankings. He was the first Austrian ever to win US Open. So far, Thiem has won one Grand Slam and 17 ATP titles.
He is a Spanish tennis player and has been ranked at number 2 in the ATP rankings. So far, Rafael Nadal has won 20 Grand Slams singles titles. He recently won a Grand Slams in October 2020 and equalled the record of Roger Federer after winning the 20th Grand Slams title.
