MSME Trade Enablement and Marketing (TEAM) Initiative

The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME) launched initiative to boost the digital presence of small and micro enterprises in India. With a budget of ₹277.35 crore over three years, the MSME Trade Enablement and Marketing (TEAM) Initiative aims to onboard 5 lakh micro and small enterprises. Notably, half of these enterprises are expected to be women-led. This initiative is a collaboration with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).

Objective of the TEAM Initiative

Financial Assistance

To ease the transition to digital commerce, financial assistance will be available for Seller Network Participants. This support will help with catalogue creation, operations, and account management. The aim is to ensure that MSMEs have the necessary resources to thrive in the digital marketplace.

Collaboration with Existing Government Programs

The TEAM Initiative works alongside existing government schemes such as PM Vishwakarma and the Digital MSME scheme. This collaboration provides a comprehensive approach to meeting the evolving needs of small businesses in India.
