Ex Khaan Quest 2023 Peacekeeping Exercise Begins in Mongolia

The Ex Khaan Quest 2023, a multinational peacekeeping joint exercise, has commenced in Mongolia with the participation of military contingents and observers from over 20 countries. This 14-day initiative is designed to boost the interoperability of participating nations, exchange experiences, and equip uniformed personnel for United Nations Peacekeeping Operations (UNPKO). The goal is to prepare participants for future UN Peacekeeping missions, advance peace operations capabilities, and enhance military readiness.

NewSpace India: Elevating Maritime Communication with MSS Terminals

NewSpace India Ltd (NSIL), Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) commercial arm, has launched a groundbreaking project to improve maritime communication and enhance the monitoring of Indian waters. The venture includes installing mobile satellite service (MSS) terminals on approximately one lakh motorised and fishing boats across 13 coastal states. Powered by India’s own Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC), these MSS terminals will ensure efficient monitoring, control, and surveillance of marine fishing vessels. The project aims to bolster emergency communication capabilities, asset tracking, and secure operations along India’s coastline.
