The 19th edition of “EXERCISE YUDH ABHYAS” is scheduled from September 25th to October 8th, 2023, at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, USA. This annual event is a joint military exercise involving the Indian Army and the United States Army. The exercise will see 350 Indian Army personnel participating, led by the affiliated battalion of the MARATHA Light Infantry Regiment. The focus of the exercise is to enhance interoperability for UN peacekeeping operations, with a theme centered around the use of Integrated Battle Groups in challenging mountain and extreme climatic conditions. Training will cover various tactical drills, combat skills, and strategies.
