Recently, the Chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), , distributed tool-kits and machinery to artisans in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, as part of the Gramodyog Vikas Yojana. Electric wheels were provided to 100 potters, footwear toolkits to 75 leather artisans, and paper massey machines to 60 artisans. Under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, KVIC has transformed Khadi into a global brand, generating employment and improving the livelihoods of artisans.
