The Janasevaka program was initiated by the Government of Karnataka. The program aims to bring 56 government services to people’s doorsteps.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai initiated this program. Under this program, the Government of Karnataka offers 56 services, including distribution of food rations at subsidy prices at the front door of citizens, certification, etc. The program runs in all 28 constituencies in the state of Karnataka and is also conducted in the 198 municipal wards of the state.
Benefit
The Karnataka government has set a goal of reaching the gateway to all homes through the program. As part of the system, services such as Khata ownership certificate, caste certificate and widow’s pension benefits will be provided at the front door. This program is very beneficial to people infected with COVID 19.
Working of the scheme
To use this program, one need to call toll-free 08044554455. The call center answers the call. The caller sends his request to the call center. Executives attending the conference call will explain the service details, including required fees, required documents, and other related matters. After confirming the caller, the boss reserves the slot on behalf of the caller. The OTP will be sent to the registered caller. This OTP will be shared by Jana Sevaka during the ministry delivery. After booking, Jana Sevaka (person) will be hired to provide the service. Jana Sevaka visits the caller at home and supports him with an application. He collects the necessary fees and evidence. He later delivers the requested document to the caller’s home.
