The impending university, specifically located in Mulugu district, is set to revolutionize the tribal education scene with its focus on tribal art, culture, technology, and traditional knowledge.

An Overview of the Bill

The recently passed bill aims to contribute to the country’s education sector by setting up a new central university named Sammakka Sarakka Central Tribal University. The goal is not just to provide standard education but also to nurture and preserve the rich cultural heritage of the tribal communities. It will also encourage research in these areas, leading to a more profound understanding of the tribal societies.

Role in Education, Research, and Development

This central tribal university is expected to play a vital role in advancing education, research, and development within the tribal community. Being akin to other Central Universities, it will maintain high standards in providing education and fostering research. The university will be a hub for scholars and researchers interested in tribal studies, thereby contributing to the broader understanding and appreciation of tribal societies.

Preservation of Traditional Knowledge
