Marathi Sahitya Sammelan Celebrates Literature and Culture

The 98th Marathi Sahitya Sammelan commenced in Delhi on February 21, 2025. This event marks the first time in 71 years that the Sammelan has been held in the national capital. Organised by Sarhad Pune and the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Mahamandal, the Sammelan aims to celebrate and promote Marathi literature and culture. A special train, ‘Mahadji Shinde Express’, carried 1,200 literary enthusiasts from Pune to Delhi, denoting the significance of the event.
