Mukhyamantri Awasiya Bhu-adhikar Yojna

The Madhya Pradesh government has announced that it will provide free residential land to residents of states that do not own the land. Land can be used by people to build their own homes. Free land will be available under the Mukhyamantri Awasiya Bhu-adhikar Yojna scheme.

Highlights

The plan began with the provision of housing sites to eligible families on Abadi lands in each Gram Panchayat. According to this plan, local collectors have authority over land availability in Abadi, and the maximum area of ??the allocation plan is 60 square meters. Families must consist of a married couple and unmarried children, and families living in certain villages are eligible for this scheme. To obtain residential land, one must apply online through the SAARA portal.

On whose name will land be allotted?

The government will transfer ownership of the site jointly to each family in the couple’s (wife and husband) name. The plan aims to provide housing for all needy families to ensure their well-being.

Objectives

The scheme aims to enable every family living in the state to live a dignified life with their own shelter. Under this plan, the state provides land free of charge to beneficiaries. This scheme targets poor families who do not own a home/land in the state. Through this plan, the government seeks to reduce land/property exploitation of the poor. Residential land under this plan will help recipients get a bank loan. This plan aims to provide housing to all beneficiary families in the state. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna the construction of the houses will be done.
