National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG)

The National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG) is a comprehensive database encompassing orders, judgments, and case details from District & Subordinate Courts and High Courts. Operating under the eCourts Project, this online platform offers real-time updates from connected courts across India. With over 23.58 crore cases and 22.56 crore orders/judgments accessible through elastic search technology, litigants gain insights into case status, ages, and geographical distribution. NJDG acts as a vital tool for case management, facilitating informed policy decisions, reducing delays, and enhancing court performance monitoring. Linked with land records data from 26 States, it was commend by the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business report for 2018.
