The Union Cabinet’s approval of the National Research Foundation (NRF) Bill, 2023, marks a significant milestone in India’s pursuit of research and development (R&D) excellence. - Governance Structure: The NRF will operate under the governance of a dedicated Governing Board, with the Prime Minister serving as the ex-officio President.
