The Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLRTC) under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has released the second edition of the Indian Sign Language dictionary. The new release aims to further equip deaf individuals with greater means of expression, and includes 6,000 Hindi and English words categorized under academic, legal, medical, technical and everyday phrases.
