PM Modi Launches Development Projects in Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated development projects in Madhubani, Bihar. The total investment exceeded Rs 13,480 crore. This initiative coincided with National Panchayati Raj Day, where the Prime Minister awarded top-performing Panchayats. The projects aim to enhance infrastructure, connectivity, and socio-economic growth in the region.

Key Development Projects

The Prime Minister laid the foundation for various projects. A notable one is an LPG bottling plant in Gopalganj District, valued at Rs 340 crore. This facility will improve the efficiency of bulk LPG transportation. Additionally, over Rs 1,170 crore was allocated to boost power infrastructure in Bihar. Multiple projects worth Rs 5,030 crore were inaugurated under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme.

Rail Connectivity Enhancements

To improve rail connectivity, PM Modi flagged off several new train services. These include the Amrit Bharat Express linking Saharsa and Mumbai and the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail between Jaynagar and Patna. New rail lines and over bridges were also inaugurated, enhancing regional connectivity and facilitating travel.

Housing and Community Support Initiatives

The Prime Minister facilitated housing for the underprivileged by handing over keys to 1 lakh beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) and 54,000 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U). Furthermore, he distributed Rs 930 crore under the Community Investment Fund, benefiting over 2 lakh Self-Help Groups (SHGs) through the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Rural Livelihoods Mission.
