About Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee
He was an Indian politician who served as the Minister for Industry and Supply in PM Jawaharlal Nehru’s cabinet. He founded the Bharatiya Jana Sangh in the year 1951. Bharatiya Jana Sangh was the predecessor to the Bharatiya Janata Party.
