Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA)
The Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) is the organization behind the prestigious Indian Science Congress. It owes its origin to the vision and initiative of two British chemists, Professor J. L. Simonsen and Professor P.S. MacMahon. ISCA saw its inception at the first meeting of the Congress on January 15-17, 1914, held at the premises of the Asiatic Society, Calcutta.
With over a century of existence, the ISCA has continuously facilitated scientific discourse and sharing of scientific findings among professionals. It continues to champion the promotion and recognition of science in India.
