‘Main Nahin Hum’ Portal and App
Recently, the Prime Minister inaugurated the “Main Nahin Hum” portal and app in New Delhi. This platform aims to consolidate the resources that corporations allocate towards social causes and coordinate them with government initiatives like Swachh Bharat and Skill India.
The portal will serve as a hub for IT professionals and companies to collaborate their efforts towards social causes and community service. It also provides an opportunity for employees to find volunteer work for different social initiatives and cooperate with their peers on these endeavors.
Furthermore, this platform is anticipated to foster a substantial collaboration for the welfare of society’s underprivileged segments, mainly by leveraging technology’s advantages. It also intends to motivate more individuals to contribute towards societal development.
Given the recent surge of start-ups in India, it is crucial that social start-ups become an integral part of this ecosystem, focusing on areas like electric vehicles that achieve both commercial and social goals.
