An Insight into Monaco

Monaco, a city-state nestled on the Mediterranean coast in Southern Europe, is the second smallest country globally, following Vatican City, over an area of only 2 km². Yet, its influence extends far beyond its geographical confines. Governed by a hereditary constitutional monarchy, Monaco operates under the high authority of Prince Albert II, the Sovereign Prince of Monaco.

Monaco’s government structure has been following the Constitution that was established on December 17, 1962. Since then, this principality has been thriving under the leadership of Prince Albert II and continues to make global impacts in various arenas, from preserving the environment to fostering international relations, as exemplified by this recent visit to India.
