Solar Compass is the name of a research journal that was launched by the International Solar Alliance at the UNFCCC COP26 Conference which was held in the city of Glasgow in the month of November 2021.

Highlights

Solar Compass Magazine was co-founded by Elsevier and the International Solar Alliance. Elsevier is a global leader in research and intelligence publishing. The magazine features new technologies that improve access to new economic developments and clean energy and has introduced several successful case studies from across the globe. This accelerates the use of solar energy. This magazine serves as a tool for accelerating the global energy transition process. This is a journal which has open access and gives the readers free access to the article. To guide the direction of the magazine, an advisory board has been set up. The editorial board plans the article and reviews it before publication. This magazine helps ISA achieve its vision of increasing solar energy consumption. With this, ISA is pursuing an ambitious goal of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius. This magazine helps the general public understand research on the use of solar energy. This magazine will also teach more about how to make a PV system cheaply, how to invest in solar energy, and a multifaceted approach.
