Established in 2011, SECI’s mission is to advance solar energy utilization across India and achieve energy security. It transforms solar radiation into power, aiming to be a leader in large-scale solar installations and to promote solar energy in remote regions. Originally a section-25 not-for-profit company, it transitioned to a Section-3 company in 2015 under the Companies Act, broadening its renewable energy scope.
