Bhopal Tragedy

The Bhopal Tragedy occurred in December 1984. It was a catastrophic industrial disaster. A gas leak from the Union Carbide pesticide plant released methyl isocyanate. Thousands of people were exposed to the toxic gas. The incident resulted in thousands of deaths and long-term health issues. It highlighted the need for stricter safety regulations. The tragedy remains a event in India's industrial history.
