Colonel Henry Olcott
Colonel Henry Olcott was an American military officer and journalist. He co-founded the Theosophical Society in 1875. Olcott played a role in promoting Eastern religions in the West. He was deeply interested in Indian culture and spirituality. His work helped revive interest in Hinduism and Buddhism. Olcott also advocated for social reform in India.
