Dinesh Trivedi

Dinesh Trivedi is an Indian politician who has served in both houses of Parliament. He was a Lok Sabha MP from Barrackpore (2009–2019) and also served multiple terms in the Rajya Sabha.He held key positions in the Union government under Manmohan Singh, including Minister for Railways and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare.Trivedi received the Outstanding Parliamentarian Award (2016–17) and has been involved in international parliamentary forums like the Indo-European Union Parliamentary Forum.In 2021, he left the All India Trinamool Congress, resigned from the Rajya Sabha, and later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
