Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme
The Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) was launched in May 2020. It aims to support businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The scheme provides 100% guarantee for additional working capital loans. It covers micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and select other sectors. The scheme is part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. It has been extended multiple times to aid economic recovery.
