Infant Paralysis, commonly known as polio, affects children, causing muscle weakness and paralysis. It is caused by the poliovirus. The disease primarily spreads through contaminated water and food. Vaccination has significantly reduced its incidence. In India, the government launched campaigns to eradicate polio.
