Rashidun Caliphate

The Rashidun Caliphate was the first Islamic caliphate. It followed the death of Prophet Muhammad. Established in 632 CE, it lasted until 661 CE. The caliphate expanded rapidly, covering vast territories. It included parts of the Arabian Peninsula, Persia, and North Africa. The period is known for significant military conquests and administrative developments. It laid the foundation for future Islamic empires.
