This platform presents state-of-the-art practices, case studies, and insights from G20 countries targeted towards fulfilling the SDGs.

Hong Kong’s Decision on Same-Sex Partnerships
Hong Kong’s apex court has ruled favourably concerning the recognition of same-sex partnerships. However, complete marriage rights to the city’s LGBTQ community were not granted. It ordered the government to present a legal framework for recognizing same-sex partnerships within two years. Around the world, homosexuality has been decriminalized in 133 countries, but only 32 of those legally recognize same-sex marriage.
Malaviya Mission: Improving Higher Education Teaching
The Malaviya Mission – a Teacher Training Programme, has been launched by the Union Minister for Education. This initiative, supported by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of Education, aims at enhancing the standard of education through specialized training for teachers in higher educational institutions. The program anticipates equipping 15 lakh teachers across India with the skills necessary to achieve the National Education Policy (NEP) objectives. A renaming of the Human Resource Development Centres (HRDCs) as Madan Mohan Malaviya Teachers’ Training Centres was also declared.
Integrating Adaptive Learning into DIKSHA platform
An initiative to integrate Personalised Adaptive Learning (PAL) into the Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing (DIKSHA) platform is underway by the National eGovernance Division (NeGD), an arm of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The DIKSHA platform, managed by the Ministry of Education, currently serves as a static online depot of educational content for schools. In contrast, PAL utilizes AI to provide students with customised learning experiences, tailored to suit their unique needs and capabilities.
