Union Agriculture Minister Inaugurates Virtual Agri-Hackathon 2020

The Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare recently launched the Virtual Agri-hackathon 2020, in partnership with the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Pusa, New Delhi. Well-known as the country’s paramount national Institute for agricultural research, education and extension, IARI is set to play a key role in this event. The Agri-Hackathon 2020 is gathering significant stakeholders from multiple sectors, including industry professionals, government representatives and young innovators, who aim to develop new solutions to address the challenges facing India’s agriculture sector.

About the Agri-Hackathon 2020: Aims and Objectives

The primary objective of the Agri-Hackathon 2020 is to create an ecosystem that fosters collaboration and innovation in the agriculture sector.
