Wings India 2020

The Indian civil aviation industry is set to host a key event, Wings India 2020, at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad from March 12th to 15th. This event is an international exhibition and conference focused on the civil aviation sector. Given Hyderabad’s status as an aviation hub, it is the perfect location for this event. The Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, Airport Authority of India (AAI) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) are jointly organizing the event. The 2020 theme is “Flying for All” with an emphasis on new business acquisition, investments, policy formation, and regional connectivity within the civil aviation industry. Wings India 2020 positions itself as Asia’s largest and most renowned gathering in the aviation industry.

About the Airports Authority of India (AAI)

Founded by an Act of Parliament, the AAI was established on April 1st, 1995 through the amalgamation of the erstwhile National Airports Authority and International Airports Authority of India. The AAI bears the crucial responsibility of creating, upgrading, maintaining, and managing civil aviation infrastructure both on the ground and air space within the country.

Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry: An Overview

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, or FICCI, was established back in 1927. It stands as the oldest and largest apex business organization in India. As a non-government, not-for-profit entity, FICCI serves as a platform for networking and consensus building across various sectors. It is the first port of call for Indian industry, policymakers, and the international business community.
