World Health Day Celebrates Universal Health Coverage

The World Health Day, celebrated annually on April 7, is a global health awareness initiative spearheaded by the World Health Organization (WHO). The commemoration occurs yearly on the 7th of April as this was the date when WHO was established in 1948. The organization’s vision since inception has been centered around the idea that all individuals should be able to attain the highest possible standard of health.

The theme for this year’s Health Day was Universal Health Coverage, emphasizing the concept that all individuals should have access to quality health services when and where needed without being financially burdened.

MCA-21: Automating Regulatory Compliance

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) of India has introduced an e-governance initiative called MCA-21. This portal has fully automated all processes related to enforcement and compliance under the Companies Act, 2013 which governs organization incorporation, responsibilities, directors, and dissolution in India. It offers electronic filings of various documents and provides public access to corporate information, serving as a digital backbone for information dissemination among stakeholders.

Remembering the Rwandan Genocide
