75 Student Satellites’ Mission 2022

The “75 Student Satellites’ Mission 2022” programme is currently being implemented by the Initiative of Indian Technology Congress Association (ITCA) in collaboration with national and international tech-space organizations. The mission consists of a consortium of 32 institutions that would be developing and launching their own student-built smallsats next year. Under this initiative, 75 nano-satellites will be launched to coincide with 75 years of Indian Independence.
Students satellites are used as a means to provide hands-on experience and build experimental learning. Under the ITCA initiative, satellites will be launched from ISRO’s launchpad. These satellites will be launched to improve the communication efficiency.
