ADIP Scheme

The Assistance to Disabled Persons for purchasing/fitting of aids/appliances (ADIP) scheme was launched by the Central Government to assist the economically vulnerable disabled persons in accessing durable and scientifically manufactured modern aids and appliances. Such aids and appliances provide physical, psychological and social rehabilitation by reducing the effects of disabilities and increase economic potential of these people.
The government is to organize a ‘Samajik Adhikarita Shivir’ for the distribution of aid and assistive devices to the beneficiaries of the ADIP Scheme and the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana. The distribution will be organized by ALIMCO.
